I joined OsteQuant, an AI-driven healthcare startup focused on bone age assessment, as an AI and Medical Technology Intern. OsteQuant was incubated at the IIT Madras Research Park, HTIC MedTech Incubator.

I worked around deployment and integration of deep learning models for pediatric radiographs, using MONAI Label and 3D Slicer, and developed a production-oriented web interface using React.js.

I gained exposure to on-site installation and support at Egmore Children's Hospital, seeing what happens when an AI system moves out of a development environment and into a real clinical workflow.

This was one of the most useful transitions in my technical education because it connected AI engineering with product, clinical and business constraints.
